This video won the contest “Sguardo Altro” promoted by the House of Iranian Culture -Venice.

(ri)Scoprendo wants to show the dark side of our society: it decides who is not compliant to its laws and it tries to exclude these people.

The protagonist, in this video, is lying on the shore, she seems dead. Nevertheless there is a trickle of blood from her body, sign of the life still in her, the life that the society ignores very superficially. A boy notices her but he doesn’t help her. He takes only some pictures with voyeuristic intent, typically of our society.

At this moment the girl tries to comunicate with him but he runs away, afraid the unknown that he certainly doesn’t want to know. The girl reacts abandoning the beach and leaving behind her an indelible part of her past.
